"ILOCOS SUR NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL @121"

It is one of the most significant events that happens in ISNHS since it is the celebration of its founding. One of the highlights before a school year ends in ISNHS is the Foundation Day or High School Day Celebration. This year marks the 121st High School Day Celebration with the theme,  "Renewed Commitment in Defying Odds to Transcend Heights of Excellence and Solidarity" . This year, they made this a 1-day celebration. There are programs and different activities done and held in this celebration.

 

 

The field demonstration is the main event of the day where every grade level prepared an intermission number to showcase. Before the actual dance or field demonstration, the selected students, teaching and non-teaching staffs of ISNHS joins the thanks giving mass held at the ISNHS gymnasium.

 

 

Always look back to the days where it all started. This celebration surely makes our high school
memories, memorable. This is why ‘high school life’ is the best.

National Women's Month is observed each March to honor the contributions and accomplishments of women in culture, history, and society. On March 8, 1911, the celebration began as International Women's Day, It is a month-long commemoration of women's numerous achievements and efforts throughout history, both in the public and private spheres.

 

National Women's Month provides a unique opportunity to celebrate women's progress while also identifying areas where more progress is needed. It is a time for women to come together and recognize their roles in various areas of life, such as politics, education, economics, and social work. It also serves as a platform for women's voices to be heard and raises awareness about issues affecting women all over the world, such as domestic violence, the gender pay gap, and reproductive health rights.

 

National Women's Month serves as a reminder to honor the accomplishments of women and to keep pushing for a more fair society. Every part of society needs women, so it's necessary to recognize both their contributions and challenges. The month acts as a call to action to acknowledge the value that women already possess and to give them the tools they need to realize that potential. "Holy Week: The Ultimate Journey of Faith and Reflection"

Holy week is the most important time of the year for Christians around the world. It is the week leading up to Easter Sunday and is filled with religious ceremonies, services, and rituals. The Holy week begins on Palm Sunday, the day on which Jesus entered Jerusalem and was greeted by crowds of people who waved palm branches in his honor. The week ends with the Easter Sunday celebration, which marks the resurrection of Jesus from the dead.

Christians observe Holy Week to reflect on Jesus' life and teachings, as well as to remember his sacrifice on the cross. The week culminates with the Last Supper, when Jesus gathered with his disciples to break bread and drink wine, laying the groundwork for the Christian sacrament of communion. The week also includes the Good Friday service, during which Christians remember Jesus' crucifixion and death on the cross. This is a solemn, but important, time for Christians to consider the enormity of Jesus' sacrifice and the love he demonstrated for all humanity.

 

The Holy week is a time for Christians to come together, to pray, and to celebrate. It is a time to reflect on the teachings of Jesus and to deepen one’s faith. During this time, Christians are encouraged to engage in acts of charity and to help those who are less fortunate. Overall, the Holy week is a time of great spiritual significance for Christians all over the world as it reminds them of the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
